SykoPat's site...

I have all my fences rolled up, but when I run a full screen game at a lower resolution it sometimes cause the my fences to not return to the correct position when I return to the desktop. This only seem to affect the fences at the bottom of the screen. Throwing together a quick mock-up in Paint to illustrate.

As you can see, the title is where it wold be if the fence was open, when the fence is closed. If I mouse over it it rolls down towards the bottom of the screen. For the record, I have multiple screens, but only one of them have fences on it. This sometimes also happens when I turn of the TV, which is connected to the computer via a Surround Receiver. The screens are as follows:

  • 4k Monitor
  • FHD Monitor
  • FHD TV via Surround receiver

Are you using the 3.0.4.12 build?

Games that change the resolution can often have unexpected effects when you exit.  Try restoring a snapshot:

To restore Fences to a previous snapshot:

-RRight-click on the desktop and select "Configure Fences..."

-Click on "Layout and snapping" on the left hand side of the configuration window that appears.

-Select a snapshot you wish to revert to. A preview window will appear showing you what the desktop will look like.

-Click Restore Snapshot to revert the desktop to this preview.

Sorry for the late reply, keep forgetting that I have to check the forum for replies.

Yes, I'm on 3.0.4.12.

Yes, that works but I'd rather not have to do that all the time. For the record, FHD monitors are at 100% scale and 4k monitor are on 150% as recommended by Windows if that makes a difference.
